I haven't done much coloring in awhile, I lose interest after a bit and with school, exams, work, etc I just am too lazy to do it. I am in a bit of a fix for it now, I enjoy it; though finding the right picture takes a bit. It started when I came across this type of photoshoping at Worth1000.com They had a "Pleasantville" contest, where you would color black and white photos in. I became in entrances to how they do that and make them look so real. I took a couple of tutorials off of Worth1000, but I was a beginner at Photoshop (and I still am) so whatever that tutorial was saying I was thinking waa?? I finally found one that somewhat made sense (It is called Primary Colorizing and available at the tutorials on Worth1000) But, I only understood half of the tutorial and basically that's how I figured out to color. I got the jist of what I had to do, but the last section didn't make any sense...so I said screw it, I'll figure it out. Somehow I did, Duplicating the picture into two different layers, adding vectors (to this day, I still don't know what they do, but it works), Hue & Sat change, color and finish by leaving it or changer the contrast/brightness. I made this unique way to color, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't though. I decided to write this because I went back to try and learn another way to color that is used more. But I still couldn't figure it out!! Almost a year later of photoshop and do some pretty neat things, I still couldn't follow a basic coloring tutorial, so I will just use the way that has been serving me well. One of these days I will learn all the basics of photoshop and what each tool does, etc....But I like my half understood tutorial way
